Took a long drive for 1 night in Grand Teton National Park. It was a successful trip with a variety of images I'm excited about, most of which are some bull moose photos. Before I start posting those, here's a really cool shot of some yellow cottonwoods with a foggy background as the first rays of sun blasted over the horizon for only a few moments before disappearing in cloud cover.

2027 Calendars are now available for Pre-order!
I made some upgrades to this year's edition including a slightly bigger size of 8x14" (closed), and a much heavier card stock for a more solid feel. I think the pictures printed even better too! AND for those that have ordered my business branded edition, the logo strip is now 50% bigger at 1.5".
Once again, I’m offering my Yellowstone calendars with custom business branding, giving local businesses a way to share something useful with their clients while showcasing the wildlife and landscapes of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Nature has a way of changing a space.

The artwork we choose for our walls does more than fill an empty spot. It influences how a room feels—and nature has a unique ability to bring a sense of calm, warmth, scale, and connection into the places where we spend our time.

A photograph of a wild landscape or an iconic animal can become a daily reminder that there is a much bigger world beyond our offices, homes, screens, and schedules.

That’s one of the things I love most about printing my landscape and wildlife images for the wall. The photograph may have been made during a fleeting moment in the wild, but once printed, it becomes something myself and others can experience every day.

Highlight of the last couple days was certainly getting to watch these two. Griz #288 (aka Quill) is a young adult male (on the left) who has been mating with an 11 year old female grizzly nicknamed "Snow" (on the right). I have 1,000+ photos of them I need to sort through along with lots of videos so I won't dive too deep in this post, since there will be more to come. This is one of my quick favorites after doing a quick scan through all the images.

My Montana cut metal prints are probably my favorite piece to create. They take the benefits of metal prints such as vibrant color, sleek design, and durable surface, and then add the artistic touch of Montana. These are a custom product my print lab and I collaborated to create which include an exclusive backing and mount system. As far as I know, no one else is creating a product like this. Here are a few that have gone out in the last couple of months.

Sometimes it's difficult to look at a beautiful picture on your phone or computer and know how it will look when it's on the wall. Room configurations are a great way to visualize that possibility by putting it into the proper context. Here are 2 photos I captured this Fall and have been imagining how they could look in print.
