Made this little video back in 2020 during the beginning of Covid. I thought it was worth reposting here because it does help reconcile the angst I've felt myself, from friends, family and even general acquaintances as the clouds appear to become the darkest and what to do about it.
In a nutshell, while most were having the worst year their lives, set upon us by the very heavy hand of the local, federal and world gov't institutions; we made a very conscious decision to gain back our lives and keep as much of the freedoms as possible. We were Hell bent on making sure bureaucrats and snake oil salesman ( who have very prominent ticker symbols on Wall Street) didn't dictate the grace of life itself and the freedom for us to pursue life,liberty and happiness.
**So if that means leaving perpetually 70 degree beach weather, to live in a 200 sq foot off grid cabin I built in 2018 that had several feet of snow and below zero temps, we didn't hesitate.
**If I had to give up all my photography clients, (some I still miss so much) and start over, we did it.
**If we were going to buy a home 6 hours north by the Canadian border and rush back tot he beach and do a fire sale; we did it.
All were terrifying decisions..But 6 years later, I can safely say have been the best ones Ive ever made.
It's become clear as the day is long, governments dont want this for us. Think about it. If it's all about control, is it easier to direct a free thinker and doer or someone who takes all the planned steps for the pyramid of life? The later tend not to ask probing questions out of general curiosity, they fall in line hoping to to be notices or pointed out. They find common trends of thinkers in their echo chambers and parrot the talking points and they are so afraid of being pointed out as an out-liar. Ultimately their social dogma becomes who their identity. Their community demanded it.
Find your own path. Walk it in truth and love. Although we always leave the door open to the suddenly awakened, (not the wokened), many will drop off, ghost you and altogether leave your side as the reflection they see themselves in your eyes will be too much conflict for their fragility. Allow them to drift off to where they need to be. In the end, if they grow, become enlightened or simply get tired of of having to defend the indefensible; never shut them out because the work they must have done is worthy of acknowledgment and celebration.
Everyones path is on their own schedule.
Life is so precious and such a gift. be with those who celebrate it as such even when the clouds are the darkest. That community will be the family that's love and commitment to you is why we feel that all is possible and when the sun does eventually come out feels like a blanket of understanding, enlightenment and LOVE..
