Almost 6 weeks ago, we walked away from our home and into a tent.

It wasn’t because we wanted an adventure. It was because our home was making us sick.

Today, I can honestly say…I’d make that same decision again.

The difference in how we feel since getting out of our mold-infested house has been incredible even though we have a long way to go. Our lab results confirmed what we suspected, and they were staggering. So many symptoms finally started making sense.

The good news? The end is in sight. In the next couple of weeks, we’ll be moving into a tiny home while we continue our healing journey. ❤️

This experience has reminded me of something I have believed for years…

Your body whispers before it screams.

If you don’t feel like yourself, please don’t ignore it. Keep asking questions. Be your own advocate.

One thing I’m especially grateful for is that for the past 11 years, Shane, Stone and I have consistently invested in our health through quality nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes. I truly believe that foundation helped us stay functional through this incredibly difficult season.

As a health coach, I’ve helped many women lose weight, balance blood sugar, regain energy, and take back their health. Walking through mold toxicity and other environmental toxins has only strengthened my passion for helping others get to the root cause instead of simply covering up symptoms.

You deserve to feel good.

If you’ve been struggling with fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, inflammation, hormone issues, unexplained symptoms, or you just know something isn’t right, I’d love to help point you in the right direction. I can also connect you with the incredible medical provider who has been helping us uncover answers.

Comment HEALTH below or send me a DM. Sometimes one conversation can change everything.

Thank you for walking this journey with our family. Your prayers, encouragement, and kindness have carried us through one of the hardest seasons of our lives.🫶🏼

Our 2 orphan foals are doing great! Thanks for all of the well-wishes and prayers for them!

Thank you all so much for the incredible love, prayers, kind comments, and concern you’ve shown for Firecracker and Rebel. ❤️

I am happy to report that these two little miracles are doing AMAZING!

They’ve gone from needing around-the-clock care to running, playing, and keeping us on our toes. Watching them chase me around the yard and hop in and out of the horse trailer like they own the place is enough to make all the sleepless nights worth it.

This video is a little glimpse of just how much life, personality, and joy these two have. We couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who has cheered them on from the very beginning.

Thank you for being part of their story. We hope this brings a smile to your day! 🐴💕

The last two weeks have tested us in ways we never expected.

On July 1st, our very first full-blood Gypsy Vanner filly was born. After complications with severe edema, her dam ultimately rejected her despite three days of trying to help them bond. We named her Firecracker, and from that moment on, she became our responsibility.

Then on July 5th, a handsome draft cross stud c**t was born. Another maiden mare “grannied” him and violently rejected him. I watched her somersault kick him twice before I stepped in and Shane and I got him to safety. We named him Rebel.

Neither foal received the colostrum they needed in those first critical hours. Without it, a foal’s chance of survival is incredibly slim. Thanks to our amazing veterinarian, both babies received plasma transfusions…something we’ve never had to do many years of raising horses.

Since then, life has been changed/cancelled plans. We are feeding buckets every two hours, around the clock. Little sleep. Antibiotics. Searching for a quality milk replacer as the old one we used to use is no longer being made. Celebrating every small victory.

Today, Firecracker is 13 days old, and Rebel is 9 days old. They’re growing stronger every day, and it has truly been our honor to care for them.

Everything else has been put on hold, because that’s what ranch life is all about. When you’re responsible for livestock, you’re responsible for lives. You show up…every two hours…every single day.

Even though we have been living in a tent for a month today due to black mold in our house (more on that later). We love these babies and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Please keep Firecracker and Rebel in your prayers as they continue to grow. I can’t wait to share their journey with all of you!

Sunday Thoughts…

I’ve learned something this year that I don’t think I fully understood before.

Life doesn’t wait until you’re ready.

The horses still need fed.
The garden still needs watered.
The weeds keep growing.
Babies keep being born.
The sun still rises.

Even when your heart is heavy.

The last several months have stretched me in ways I never expected. Losing my dad changed me forever. Then came discovering the mold in our home, leaving everything familiar behind, worrying about my family, and learning to build a new normal one day at a time.

There have been mornings when I questioned how I was going to keep going.

But then I’d step outside.

A mare would nicker.
A foal would race across the pasture.
The mountains would catch the first light of day.
The garden would have another tomato ready to pick.

Nature has a way of reminding us that life keeps moving forward…and maybe we’re supposed to move forward with it.

Not because we’ve forgotten the hard things.

But because hope grows right alongside hardship.

I’ve realized healing rarely happens all at once. It’s found in ordinary moments…watering flowers, bottle-feeding a foal, sharing a meal with your family, laughing when you didn’t think you could, saying a prayer, watching a sunset, and choosing gratitude even when life feels uncertain.

If you’re carrying something heavy today, I hope you’ll remember this:

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

Just keep taking the next right step.

One sunrise.
One prayer.
One act of kindness.
One deep breath.
One day at a time.

Sometimes that’s more than enough.

Happy Sunday, friends. Thank you for continuing to walk this journey with me. Your encouragement has meant more than you’ll ever know.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate 250 years of America…a milestone that reminds us just how blessed we are to call this country home.

Freedom isn’t something I take for granted. It was earned through incredible sacrifice by generations of brave men and women who believed in something bigger than themselves. Because of them, we have the privilege to live, work, worship, dream, and raise our families in freedom.

I know America isn’t perfect…no country is. But I also know there is nowhere else I’d rather call home. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities, the wide-open spaces, the hardworking people, and the values that continue to make this nation so special.

As I watch the flags wave and hear the fireworks tonight, I’ll be thanking God for this beautiful country, praying for our military, first responders, and all who continue to protect our freedoms, and hoping we never lose sight of how precious liberty truly is.

From our ranch to yours, I wish you a safe, joyful, and meaningful Independence Day.

God bless America!❤️🤍💙

Sometimes the sweetest gifts don’t come from a store.

Yesterday, my son surprised me with a handful of wildflowers he picked just for me. 💐

No special occasion. No reason at all…just because.

After everything our family has walked through this year, these simple moments seem to mean even more. A bouquet of wildflowers reminds me that joy has a way of finding us again…often in the smallest, most unexpected ways.

I’ll treasure these blooms long after they’ve faded because I’ll always remember the heart that picked them.

Do you like wildflowers? If so, which is your favorite ?

P.S. Stone, thank you for reminding your mom that the little things really are the big things. I love you more than words can say. ❤️
