However, there’s nobody I would rather be on this rollercoaster with than you.

Wedding Tip: A Photography Friendly Wedding

You've planned the big day right? The venue, the florals, the food, the dress, and everything in-between. The LAST thing you want on your wedding day is added stress. One thing I tell all my brides that helps relieve some of that stress is to plan for a "photography friendly wedding".

What I mean by this is to NOT plan your entire day around photos but to work with your photographer to plan and make small adjustments, if needed, throughout your day that will result in beautiful images.

One thing I always tell my brides and the hair/makeup team is to try to setup near a window and simple background. The last thing you want is a giant floral print sofa behind you in your photos and you most certainly don't want to be rearranging the entire bridal suite right in the middle of getting your makeup done if there is.

Plan for soft, indirect light and arrange your bridal suite accordingly before your hair/makeup start setting up.

Photographers.... Lightroom added that color grading wheel tool and removed the split toning. Don't worry- I freaked a little bit as well when I saw this so you're not alone. I've been playing with this tool and I have to say that I AM LOVING IT! There's so much more you can do with this and it resembles the color wheels that they use in video editing. Chelsea Nicole is someone I follow and a color grading ninja so I'm reposting her intro video to this. Super helpful!
