Laura Frazier Photography Devoted to engaging in authentic story. The art and act of taking photos is an avenue I use to express the love I have for others and their stories.

It is important to me that I capture how beautiful you are, so you can see and hold forever the beautiful things about you and the people you love.

getting pretty honest here about when I first met Jesus as a suffering savior - I wish we were sitting across from one another at coffee so I could testify to you about what we choose to do with our suffering. But I will take this space in the meantime to have that conversation instead 🫶

Photos tell stories - that’s why I love them. But they are just one medium for storytelling. Most story work is done across the table from someone or over a cup of coffee, voice memos and Marco polos.

Finding healing inside of my own story has been life-changing and generation shifting. God himself exists inside community, the triune God. Jesus himself was perfect, and yet, he chose to live life with friends. We all have been marked by imperfect people, making imperfect decisions, and the enemy would love nothing more than for us to stay isolated when he knows that healing happens inside of community. I have so much to say about this-but for now, I want to encourage you that finding good community is worth the risk and it’s worth the weight. Don’t quit and don’t do this life alone.

Tips to incorporating a Sabbath rhythm ⬇️

1. Study the scriptures as to why it’s important that we rest, why God made it a part of our design. This helps us understand that it’s an invitation and a gift to rest - not a burden 🫶

2. Start slow + build up if you need to. One hour once a week. Then one afternoon once a week. Make it make sense for your life, our family now Sabbath 24 hours once a week, but it didn’t start that way.

3. Go easy on yourself! Don’t overthink it, rest in a way that brings you life… It might not look the same for you as it does for your husband or your kids. Allow lots of room for grace as you figure it out ❤️
