These words of Gertrude Stein resonate with me as I plan the next phase of my personal photo project investigating intimacy.

"Tim and Bird", shot in Michigan some years ago, suggests another avenue of relationships worth pursuing.

2015 will be an exciting and challenging year for the project.

Here's a preview of the images to be displayed at NJIT's CoAD Gallery in October. LOL

When they were delivered by UPS I was surprised by the size of the delivery!

I was more than a little concerned about the 2nd and 5th packages from the top of the stack. They looked damaged and I was worried about the images inside....

It's been about one year since the Guidebook was published by Rutgers University Press.

Thanks to my supportive friends, principally Alan Schindler, some of the best images from the book will be displayed at NJIT's CoAD Gallery in Newark. The opening reception will be on Saturday, October 6. Very exciting!

Lovingly, chided by my adult daughter for not taking advantage of the power of social media and encouraged by her and by my friends, I'm launching this Sandy Noble Photography page today.

Through it I plan to share images and ideas about photography and to explore image making with others who have similar interests.

Don't be off-put by the black & white self portrait above. Although I have been known to issue "rants from the red chair" this image was made to reflect feelings toward the end of my career as a Managing Director in the corporate world.
