The video I removed yesterday.This is mare Susi Solé and her 2026 c**t. She was killed by a fatal vehicle strike. Her c**t was taken to Chincoteague, Virginia.

I know this is still raw. This is the end of the issue for me. I don’t have the energy for it right now.

The day before the tragedy with Dune, came a little one who may comfort folks after such a loss. Tommy (presumably) and Giggles welcomed a c**t! I am not sure if anyone else got to see him be born. My friends and I must have missed it by an hour or two. Welcome little N9BM-JY!

A horse on Assateague (MD) was killed by a vehicle last night. It is said to have been a chestnut. People have been counting chestnut horses all day at the park. When we left the park late morning, I think several folks combined had narrowed it down to just a few stallions. So no confirmation of which one that I know of yet. I’m sure the locals will be able to figure it out whether the park service announces it or not.

Those who love this weird wild horse world really would like to know which it was. The park service won’t or can’t announce things anymore.

Time for the process of elimination.

Filly N2BHS-AIOTY with her dam, Korona K. She does not have a name yet. Assateague Island Alliance will auction or raffle naming rights at a later date.

(No, she will not be involved in today’s swim to Chincoteague for auction. Maryland foals stay put. Just the Virginia herd is involved in the swim. There is a fence at the state line.)
