This was such a special one to see in print.
Photographing Salisbury University’s restored Social Room felt like stepping into a piece of history.

The renovation of this historic Holloway Hall space was led by Bryan LeCompte of Yard Designs, Inc. Who planned and executed the year-long project as a gift to the university. The room is dedicated in honor of Bryan and Whitney LeCompte, along with the generosity of fellow project benefactors.

Bryan restored the room’s original cherry panelin
g and brought the space back with incredible attention to detail, from the painted ceiling beams and coffered wall details to the chandeliers, sconces, antiques, rugs, curated furniture, artwork, fireplace, catering area, ADA accessibility, and hidden modern systems.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this meaningful space back to life. Grateful to have photographed it.

Lighthouse Sound might be the most picturesque golf community in Worcester County, at least it is my favorite to photograph.

A treehouse for adults who never stopped dreaming.

Built in 1978 above Saltworks Creek, this mid-century modern sanctuary wasn't designed to look at the water. It was designed to live with it.

Floor to ceiling glass. A stone fireplace at the heart. Red cedar rising through the forest canopy. Three levels woven into the trees above a quiet protected cove on the Severn River.

Last month I had the privilege of photographing one of North America's most celebrated equestrian estates — Hilltop Farm in Cecil County, Maryland. 437 acres, a legacy of world-class sport horses, and 1.3 miles of creek running through it all. This is the kind of property that reminds me why I picked up a camera in the first place. After 15 years photographing Maryland and Delaware, I still get goosebumps on shoots like this.
