Not the best pictures of the aurora borealis you will see in your feed today, there is definitely a learning curve! Such a fun challenge and amazing to witness.
Note that with the naked eye I could tell where the aurora was, and see an occasional hint of color, but mostly it just looked like a thin haze of clouds. Cameras collect light for more time so the color/intensity is way more pronounced.
