Hey there! 10 things to get to know the gal behind the camera.
1. I am Catherine, my family has always called me "cat", but I was heavily trained as a child to not allow others to call me "cathy".
2. I am a wife to David. We have been together since we were 16/17 and have been married for 27 years this August. He is the best partner to do life with and my biggest supporter.
3. A couple years ago, we bought an older RV and have had fun visiting 13 states, with more adventures to come (hopefully).
4. I always wanted four kids and am so blessed by my crew, 21, 20, 18, 16. They are fun, loyal, competitive, and all so different. They are the joy of our lives and when they are all together, my heart is so full.
5. I feel like I have always known God, but gave my whole heart to Him when I was 12 at church camp. He has made my life full of adventure.
6. I have worked out in various ways my whole life, but for the past year, I have been on a lifting kick, and love it!
7. After taking a 17 year hiatus from the classroom, I started teaching again in 2020 and just finished my 6 year teaching elementary school. I did home school my kids for a lot of years as well.
8. I have travelled to 14 different countries. We lived in Africa for 7 years (and my kids spent most of their growing up years there). The majority of the countries I have been to are on the continent of Africa.
9. I love watching sports (especially ones my kids are playing) and my goal is to try and always say "yes" when my kids ask me to do anything active with them. I may be slower, but I still want to be able to do whatever it is they ask me.
10. I have always loved taking pictures, but got serious about my gear and education in 2023 when I launched CW Photography NWA. I am wildly shocked on a daily basis that I have this business. I not only love being creative, but I also love the business side of things.
