AMAZING Aurora, dusk until dawn, all night long. I'm working on the timelapse video and searching through over 4,000 images from three cameras.

This one stood out as a starter. The only editing is downsizing the image for the web.

WOW! Did you see the sky last night? First of all it's the annual Perseids meteorite shower, so I put out a camera or two, to try to "catch a falling star"

Clear Sky: Thursday night. By the way, fireflies appeared earlier than usual this year? Animation is 20-D, 14mm, every 20 seconds from Sunset until Sunrise.

Old cameras are still useful. :-)

No comet, West is Fredonia, there was no way that was going to work out. BUT... NE is nice, even if a little late for Lyrids. 50 seconds before the memory card filled on the camera. 2:05AM last night/this morning. (two frames merged, I was doing 10 second exposures) 35mm, aim, start the timer, and pray something happens in the frame, it's a narrow field of view.

I haven't had a hot dog since football ended. I look forward to October. Although, sometimes I get lucky and they have them for media at the race tracks.
