To all my blue collar dads... Man... I see you.
We bust our asses all day. We're covered in dirt, concrete, grease, mud, and sweat. Every day we're trying to build our own version of generational wealth. Not just through money, but through effort, discipline, and showing our kids that learning to do things yourself will always take you farther than relying on everyone else.
Our backs hurt, our hands are tore up, and by the time we clock out, we should probably be headed home to crash.
Instead, we're grabbing a ball bag, loading up the truck, throwing on a different hat, and heading to the field.
People always ask, "How do you have the energy?"
Truth is... I don't know. I think when it's your kids, God just gives you another tank. Somehow you find that extra gear because they deserve it.
I've heard every excuse in the book. "I'm too tired." "I've worked all day." Believe me... so have we.
But our kids only get one childhood.
One day they'll stop asking us to throw the ball. One day they won't need us to tie their cleats or sit in the stands. We don't get those days back.
So to every dad who's showing up with dirty boots, sore muscles, and a smile on his face anyway... thank you.
You're teaching your sons what sacrifice looks like. You're showing your daughters what love, commitment, and work ethic look like. You're proving that character is built through consistency, not convenience.
Being a father isn't about being perfect. It's about being present.
Keep showing up.
The long hours will be forgotten.
The memories, the lessons, and the example you set will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
Much respect to every hardworking dad out there. Keep getting after it. We're not just building a future. We're building men and women who know the value of hard work, discipline, and earning what they have.
Much respect 🙏🏿 🫡
