This is my daughter — my girl. She’s been with me through my entire adult life, and every season we’ve walked through together has shaped the bond we share. Watching her grow into the beautiful, strong, and kind young woman she is today has been the greatest honor of my life. I am endlessly proud of her, and photographing her senior year feels like capturing pieces of my own heart. 💜

I’ve photographed so many amazing seniors over the years… but this year, one of these seniors is my daughter.

Behind the camera, I’m watching the confident, beautiful young woman she’s become, yet still seeing the little girl who once held my hand. My heart is torn between overwhelming pride and the ache of knowing this chapter is ending.

Every click of the shutter feels like holding on and letting go at the same time. ❤️ My outlook on senior photos is forever changed, more than ever, I get it. I feel it.
