01/01/2021
I hated 2020 for numerous reason. All of my weddings (except 1) were cancelled. So many times I thought that my photography wasn't worth the effort. "Nobody sees your posts anyway, nobody is going to care." I kept hearing this in the back of my mind every time I thought about deleting my Facebook, or Instagram or selling all of my gear because I had too much on my plate and no one needs another wedding photographer anyway. But I am here!
I have spent a lot of this week reflecting on my year. Our first year of marriage, my first year in a new job (in a vet clinic), success in my husband's job, everyone in my extended family has remained healthy, my dog is alive and happy no matter how many medical crisis he has. Even though this year has been full of trials and tribulations, I can't help but feel thankful. And so damn strong 💪
What are you thankful for this year?
What was your most successful moment? What was the moment you thought you would give up?
Here I am, snuggling with my favorite dog, enjoying the last few hours of 2020. We are here. We made it. Here's to 2021!
