We wanted sunsets, golden hour, oranges and pinks.

Instead, we got rain, gray skies, and thunder. 😂

We could’ve cancelled, but decided to just go with it and I’m SO glad we did.

The stormy skies ended up giving us something completely different than what we planned, and honestly, I’m here for it.

Not every session needs perfect weather to turn out good. Sometimes you just roll with whatever the sky decides to do. ⛈️🤍

My last photography session in Beaufort and what a way to end this chapter 🥹🤍
This session was SO much fun, so beautiful, and just felt like the perfect reminder of why I love what I do. The kind of morning where we’re laughing, moving around, soaking up the scenery, and making memories instead of worrying about getting the “perfect” photo.
Beaufort, you’ve been pretty good to me. And getting to photograph beautiful families here has been one of my favorite parts of this season. 🫶🏻

Sometimes I have to stop and realize just how lucky I am to call this my job. 🤍
I get to step into so many families’ lives and document the seasons they never want to forget. The growing bellies, brand new babies, wild toddlers, big siblings, family adventures, belly laughs, tiny details, and all the beautiful chaos in between.
I get to meet families exactly where they are and turn those ordinary moments into memories they’ll have forever.
Every session is different because every family is different, and honestly, that’s my favorite part.
Thank you to every family who trusts me with these moments. Getting to capture your people, your love, and your life is something I’ll never take for granted.
I really, really love this job. 🥹🤍

Family photos don’t have to mean standing in a line, smiling at the camera, and telling the kids to “say cheese.” 😂
What if your family session looked more like… this?
Climbing on the boat.
Kids being completely ridiculous (aka being kids).
Looking for dolphins.
Windblown hair.
Bare feet.
Mom and dad sneaking a kiss while the kids are distracted.
Laughing way too loud.
And all the little in-between moments that actually feel like your family.
Because when you book a session with me, I don’t want you to spend 45 minutes trying to make your kids behave for photos. I want you to actually enjoy your family while I document it.
Give me the boat. Give me the chaos. Give me the silly kids. Give me the traditions, the inside jokes, the adventures, and the things your family actually loves to do together.
Years from now, I want you to look back and remember exactly what this season felt like...not a perfectly posed version of it. 🤍
