Lately, I’ve been letting myself get lost in painting—no plans, no pressure, just movement. I start with blind bases, layering paint without looking, letting instinct take over before I step back and respond. It’s a process of feeling rather than thinking, of letting things build on their own terms. Still figuring out where it’s going, but that’s the best part.

Like every month, last night’s meetup at was a treat. We welcomed so many new faces and saw great photo work. Photography has its own language and references. I feel lucky that every month I get the chance to “talk shop” with people who are just as excited about this ephemeral medium as I am.
