Mr. Gatson was honored last night for his 60+ years of cowboy’n on the Baer Ranch. The Matagorda County Cattlemen’s Association named J.D. as their newest recipient of the Silver Spur award, which is a testament to the time and efforts he has put toward the cattle industry over his lifetime.
