9.19.26 💍

September 19th was such a special day for me—not only because I got to capture the love between two absolutely gorgeous people, but because this was my first wedding as a solo photographer. 🤍📸

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful couple, a more perfect day, or better weather to celebrate their love. Every little moment, every laugh, every happy tear, and every detail made this day truly unforgettable.
Being trusted to document such an important chapter in someone’s life is something I’ll never take for granted. I’m so grateful I got to be there to capture these memories for you both. 🥹💍

MEET THE GIRL BEHIND THE CAMERA!

Hello, I’m Cortney, the face behind Photography by Cortney

I am a self-taught, versatile photographer who absolutely loves getting to capture the moment people never want to forget

From weddings and couples to families, seniors, and everything in between, I’m always up for creating something unique to YOU. 🩷

Photography started with my grandfather taking my brother, my best friend, her brother, and me to a random field, posing us, and taking pictures.

It quickly turned into him showing me how the camera worked, and eventually, he gave me my very first camera — the same camera I still use today as my one and only camera. ❤️

From there, my love for photography continued to grow, and eventually turned into a business that I’m incredibly excited and grateful to keep building.

What started as a random day in a field has grown into something I never imagined, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
