📸 A little transparency as I continue to learn & grow… 🦋
As I grow and learn more about photography AND the business side of it, I want to be as transparent as possible with all of you.
First and foremost — PLEASE be real with me! 💛 I can’t learn, improve, or grow if I don’t know. I’m still learning every single day, and I’m lucky to have some amazing mentors helping guide me along this journey.
There are also a couple things I’ve learned along the way that I want to share with my clients:
📸 Please do not upload my finished photographs into ChatGPT, AI programs, or other editing/graphic-making programs to alter them or create graphics without checking with me first. I’ll admit, before I knew better, I was guilty of doing things like this with my own photos too! These programs can change the colors, details, quality, editing, and overall finished look of the photograph.
If you want something special made with one of your photos — MESSAGE ME! I would much rather help you create it while keeping the quality and integrity of your images. 🥰
🖨️ When printing your digital photos, I also recommend using a professional photo lab rather than places like Walmart or Walgreens. Some one-hour/consumer labs may apply automatic corrections that can change the color, brightness, cropping, or overall appearance from what you received from me. If you aren’t sure where to order prints, PLEASE ask me! I’m happy to help.
And while we’re being transparent…
⏰ I also want to apologize for turnaround times. I know there have been times it has taken me longer than I would like to get galleries finished. I have cut back on some jobs so I can be better about getting your pictures back to you in a more timely manner.
If you are waiting on a gallery and need one or two specific pictures right away, please don’t hesitate to ask! I will do my best to get those to you while I continue working on the rest of your album.
Lastly, we have SO MANY talented photographers in our area. ❤️

Every photographer has their own editing style, personality, and way of capturing moments — and not every photographer’s style is going to fit what every person wants.
