My first wedding. A story, pt. 2
When I arrived to the ball room where I would be shooting, I was met by a Mrs. Elizabeth. She began asking me questions in Spanish and quickly realized that I only spoke English.
She explained the itinerary to me and went back to her other duties. She coordinated the whole wedding and loudly slipped in, "photographer," or "photograph," over the mic when I was needed.
I was shy and hesitant to speak to the guests because I didn't know how to politely ask if they spoke English and I didn't want to embarrass them or myself in the case that they did or did not.
I didn't really speak for the majority of the wedding, and even though I didn't understand a thing that was said, it was still beautiful to watch and understand strictly through watching the celebration.
