The Circus Drive-In sign on Rt 35 in Wall Township is being taken down today. This sign has stood as a local landmark for years and my mom has stories of going to the restaurant here as a child. It always brightens my day when I drive by and it will definitely be missed. Do you have any fond memories of the Circus Drive-In?

On July 12th, 2020, Charles Van Der Linde happened to be in the right place at the right time for just one of many rescues he's performed in his lifetime. He and other members of the water rescue team saved 2 women off the 8th Ave Jetty in Belmar, NJ. Hear his story.

"Long story short? I survived." - Deb H. - Ocean Grove, NJ.

Late last year, Deb was diagnosed with Acoustic Neuroma - or a benign tumor in her brain, just behind her right ear. It had effected her hearing and facial nerves to the point doctors suggested a surgery to have the tumor removed.

In the midst of the pandemic, she went under the knife where the doctors successfully removed the tumor. Now, just a couple months removed from surgery, she is re-learning how to walk a straight line, drive her car and complete every day tasks such as making dinner. Every day is a struggle, but this is a fight she plans to win.

In mid-November, Chef Lou from Blend on Main hosted an event called Safe on the Streets in Manasquan, NJ. The event took up all of Main St, and for $75 per person, you would be welcome to dine from a delicious menu prepared by Chef Lou and his staff with proceeds donated to A Need we Feed and other local charities.

This event was just one of the ways Chef Lou has helped those in need during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and he has more planned in the coming months.
