Hi everyone!
I was finally able to backlog all the photos I have posted so far for my series on instagram over to FB as well (Sorry I was not able to bring over all the original IG captions with them though).
Now that everyone is caught up I will be posting here in addition to Instagram (). For anyone new to the series please take a minute and read the passage below that I originally wrote to introduce my project last month.
Thank you for your support!

The north end of Long Beach Island- an 18-mile long barrier island off the coast of New Jersey- is a special place to many locals, vacationers and fisherman year round. With the extra long beach and plenty of salt air to go around, the north end is also a place that I’m lucky enough to call home.
My time growing up here was so unique and special that often the ways of life here, get lost in translation. While everyone is currently living in unprecedented times, and many of us find ourselves in a variety of different situations, working from home for me has sparked new creativity, and has inspired me in new ways. I’ve been able to spend some time away from the city, and make it back to my roots on the north end for the first time in a long time. I wanted to do something that connected me to my home once again. While some view this place as a vacation spot, to others it’s as blue collar as you can find. There’s so much inspiration to be found here.
The one thing ,that stands out to me more than anything, is Viking Village. This fishing village is nestled in Barnegat Light on the waterfront with many mariners and hardworking fisherman. Viking Village supplies locals, as well as the world with scallops and fresh fish on a regular basis. It’s these people, these boats, and the desire to harvest the sea, that many people never get to see the full view of. THIS, is the story that I want to share. So please follow along and join me as I document this unique part of my home on the north end, over the next several months.
