Heidi, artist and creator of MadeByME, resides in Bar Harbor, Maine and spends her time chasing sunsets and heart rocks in and around Acadia National Park. A Mount Desert Island native, I attribute my deep gratitude for nature, and every aspect of who I am today, to having grown up Maine. My photography reflects my love and appreciation of heart rocks, of which I am always searching for. Nature is
my source of mind, body, and soul connection, and most recently, my path to recovery, self-discovery and self-expression. I moved back to Maine to recover from Lyme Disease, and ended up creating a greeting card business out of my endless search for heart rocks in Acadia National Park! These handcrafted cards are MadeByME in the spirit of visiting, celebrating, and loving nature daily. In recent years I have sold my art at local craft fairs and in several shops. And really, since embarking on this artistic endeavor, I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t love heart rocks! I offer handmade greeting card sets as well as matted and framed prints. All greeting cards are square (5x5) with an original print mounted on high quality cardstock. The inside of the card is left blank for a custom greeting. Each boxed set comes with 8 cards and matching envelopes. Every card was meticulously handcrafted and signed. Square is in! Heart rock prints measure 4x4 and are displayed in an 8x8 mat either with a white backing or a lovely splash of color. Matted prints are packaged in a protective sleeve and ready to be placed in the 8x8 square frame of your choice.
