Had a nice stroll on a wooded walking trail and didn’t get far when this redheaded woodpecker started talking to me and kept circling back to the same tree. Loved watching it work!

Minsi on a chilly, windy morning this morning

Something urged me to get up and get out this morning even though I knew it was chilly and windy. I am still soaking up the autumn colors so I went out with camera and as soon as I got out of my car, this guy was staring at me in the tree! It was a quick snap and he flew off. But it made my morning!
