Tru Reflections Photography
Stillness at the Edge
This collection explores the quiet threshold between movement and rest, where nature reveals itself in moments of reflection, softness, and restraint. From mirrored water and anchored boats to luminous blooms and weathered coastlines, each photograph captures a fleeting calm that invites the viewer to slow down and look more closely. Together, the images create a meditative visual rhythm centered on serenity, solitude, and the understated beauty found in transitions.

“Where Art Finds Its Quiet Place”

There’s a moment that happens when a piece of art doesn’t just hang in a room — it settles into it, breathes with it, and becomes part of the home’s heartbeat.
That’s exactly what unfolded in this warm, sun‑washed corner where one of my water lily reflections found its place.

Soft afternoon light filters through wooden blinds, casting gentle shadows across a blush‑toned wall. A wicker chair waits with a knitted throw, eucalyptus leans in from a tall ceramic vase, and a small wooden table holds the simple comforts of everyday living — a lamp, a diffuser, a quiet sense of calm.

And above it all, the water lily floats.

Its reflection rests on still, dark water — a reminder that beauty often blooms in the quietest spaces. The soft pink petals echo the warmth of the wall, while the deep tones beneath anchor the entire room with a sense of serenity. It’s a pairing that feels effortless, natural, and deeply human.

This is what Tru Reflections Photography is all about:
art that doesn’t overpower a space, but completes it.
Art that feels like a breath.
Art that invites you to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the stillness we often forget to notice.

Whether it’s a coastal bloom, a Maine woodland detail, or a water lily holding its own in the hush of morning light — each piece is created to bring a sense of presence into the spaces where life unfolds.

If you’ve ever wondered how a Tru Reflections print might live in your home, let this little corner be your inspiration.
Warm, natural, lived‑in, and quietly beautiful — just like the stories your walls are waiting for.

Spring’s First Whisper

A gentle crocus opens beneath the soft light of early spring — petals fading from violet to lilac, touched by warmth after winter’s hush. This piece captures renewal in its quietest form, where color returns to the earth and the air feels newly alive. A serene, Maine‑rooted moment of awakening and grace.

Cradled by Wind
A solitary sailboat glides through morning mist, its sails filled with quiet purpose. Reflected in stillwater, it drifts between shadow and light — a whisper of craftsmanship, memory, and motion. The trailing dinghy follows like a thought not yet spoken, and the fog wraps gently around the hull, holding the moment in hush.

I thought this photo is perfect for Easter. Happy Easter.
Reflected Grace....
A bloom suspended in silence — this white water lily opens gently over black water, its golden heart glowing like a quiet flame. Beneath it, a mirrored echo lingers, soft and still. In this moment, purity meets reflection, and grace finds its place in the hush.

Cradled in Quiet Water
Ames Pond, Stonington, Maine

A single water lily opens in gentle light, its pale pink and white petals glowing against the stillness around it. The dark water holds the bloom like a quiet cradle, offering a soft reflection that mirrors its calm beauty. Every petal feels unhurried, every curve touched by peace. In this moment of perfect stillness, the flower seems to float between worlds — one above, one below — both equally serene.
