We are not just shooting for the here and now. We are shooting for 5, 10, and even 50 years from now. Going in we are hoping that it will be the beginning of a long working relationship where we are pr

ivileged to continue telling your story. Our goal is to decorate your homes, show your guests who you are though the images you display, and to warm the hearts of your loved ones.

A Little Update from Shelley Harris Photography!

After 14 wonderful years of capturing love stories, I’ve made the decision to step away from shooting weddings. I will still be fulfilling the contracts I currently have, so dont you worry. I just won't be accepting any moving forward.

This was not an easy choice, because every single couple who trusted me with their day gave me the honor of witnessing and documenting some of life’s most beautiful moments. From the nervous jitters before the walk down the aisle, to the laughter on the dance floor, to the quiet tears during vows. I’ve loved every second of it. I have shed those happy tears right there with you.

But as the years go by, I’ve realized it’s time to start lightening the load. Weddings are magical, but they are also physically demanding, and I want to make space for the next chapter.

That said, I am not going anywhere! I’ll still be booking sessions for families, seniors, and branding work. These sessions fill me with so much joy, and I can’t wait to keep creating beautiful memories and portraits with you all.

To all my past wedding couples: thank you for trusting me with your love story. You’ve given me years of memories I’ll carry with me forever. 💕

Alex and Mitch’s wedding day in Clare, Michigan was nothing short of magical. On Saturday, April 5th, the rain held off just long enough for these two to say “I do” surrounded by the people who love them most.

The venue at 501 was the perfect backdrop. From the cozy, romantic atmosphere to every thoughtful detail that made the day uniquely theirs. Mitch and Alex couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful celebration of their love.

Surrounded by loved ones they vowed to stand beside each other through it all and and it was an honor to capture every moment of it.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Hamming! Here’s a quick peek into their perfect day.
