Bytyronewilkens Tyrone Wilkens is an American portrait photographer from Baltimore, Maryland Tyrone Syranno Wilkens is the owner and founder of Photosbysyranno.

He began his photography journey in 2009 with the sole purpose of capturing pictures of his newborn son. As he started taking pictures every day, the camera became a part of him, and he found it difficult to put it down. Over the years, he started taking pictures locally and eventually got his big break in the inauguration year of President Obama. He provided images for Jet and Ebony, which landed

him his first job with the brand, resulting in a 4-page spread. Afterward, he was mentored by Mike Williams, a fashion photographer and the founder and owner of Iconography Magazine. Williams groomed Syranno for the fashion industry, and he began to make sense of his life. In the following decade, Syranno's work was featured in British Vogue, Essence, Complex, Forbes, and many other publications. In 2019, Syranno launched 208 Management, a modeling agency that focuses on the representation, development, and placement of models of color. As he continues his journey, Syranno consistently grows and evolves.

CALL FOR LOCATION SUPPORT 🎬

I’m currently producing a short film entitled REMEMBRANCE, an intimate 13-minute narrative project centered around family, conversation, and emotional reflection.

We are currently looking for a home or creative space that may be interested in donating or sponsoring their location for filming.

The ideal space would include:
• Living Room
• Dining Room
• Kitchen
• Bedroom

The primary filming location will be the dining room, while the additional rooms will be used for supporting and transitional scenes.

Production Details:
• 2 filming days total
• One 8–10 hour day
• One 4–6 hour day
• Small production footprint with approximately 10 people including cast and crew

Ideally, we are looking to secure and film at the location sometime between mid June and early July 2026 as we finalize scheduling and production logistics.

We are committed to treating the space with professionalism, care, and respect throughout production.

This project means a great deal to us, and we would truly appreciate any support from individuals who believe in independent storytelling and community collaboration. We would also be happy to discuss credits and acknowledgment for any sponsored location support.

Back in High School I used to do music specifically rap with my cousin and a few friends. We were aiming for the stars, yes I rapped from 2002 - 2013 and honestly I pen things here and there. The one thing that’s never stopped is my affinity for music. So when I get the opportunities to work with musicians to help tell their stories I have a special place in my heart for it.

I got tapped by .jaiofficial to photograph her single cover art for her release “Sunset” and it was a truly beautiful experience. The first image in the group is the official single cover art and the additional are images that sums up the session for me.

The light is important but the darkness is equally important. Wandering in the darkness to understand and appreciate the light is something that I had to learn this year. I used to avoid the darkness because there were uncomfortable truths lurking in the shadows. Once realized those truths were my truths then I became comfortable with the darkness it felt more like an old friend.
