your emails are finding in the kitchen wearin nothing but a hairband (for a nonexistent hairline), and a big fuzzy bathrobe. in one hand i've got a fully flat beer, and the other splitting my blinds to help me sip up the juicy little giblets of chisme happening outside. there is tea everywhere for those with the ears to drink.

like yeah girl i love my job and yeah i love taking photos but it's really that much more special when you know that your work is directly supporting a cause that is near and dear. certified chuffed to have been able to create some beautiful images with in support of womens' reproductive health support and abortion access.
actually lmfao in middle school i had to sit in the library during health class when we were learning about basic anatomy. to this day i have no idea why i couldnt be there. "when are you getting a girlfriend?" well you see, i never learned how any of that works so how could i possibly interact with a women! preposterous! scandalous, even! to this day i've never seen a woman exist in this world. if only i had sat in on that health class

it's really so hard to believe that as of this friday, i'll have been volunteering with CreativeMornings Baltimore for 8 YEARS ????!??!?? i've never been more grateful for a community!!! waking up for 7am call time has never felt so good (or bad).

recent work with !!! a bit embarrassing for me, but this was one of the spots in baltimore that would absolutely fall under "essential places to visit" and yet i did not make it out until now OOPS. i've been hearing the best things about everything and everyone there for years and i'm so thankful to report that every single good thing you've heard is true, and even better than described. this shoot was such a dream. thank you so much for letting me show up at the crack of dawn and take over the dining room for a day!!

the way that i PACKED that production schedule as full as i possibly could so that we could do as much as humanly possible.....never again lmfao. the weather was so hot that by the time i had unloaded my kit off my car, my shirt was already soaked through. by the grace of lady gaga everything was dried off by the time lights were set up but the dry shirt was not destined to remain because in the 15 minutes it took for me to load gear back onto the car at the end of the day, i had once again made an unwilling visit to the swamp gooch factory. learned a few crucial things that day:
1. pack "non essential" gear into your car the night before if you can.
2. extra hands for load in/tear down should Not be underestimated.
3. wrap beers are going into my production schedules from now on.

recent studio test shoot with some pringles! i had realized that while i'm paying for my studio every month....it had fully been at least 3-4 months since i've gone in to do a test shoot. unacceptable, tbh.

these were just a fun and easy way to ease myself back into the process. i really have to give .rooden.art.weaving all of the credit. they made arranging these chips look so easy, while i was sweaty and hunched over the table for like, 3 hours trying to get this going.
