I set out to just post "a few" of my favorites from my Christmas mini sessions that I can share and aren't surprise gifts for others. That went well haha! More than a few.......but you can feel the love. My photo business started out with Christmas sessions at my parents' house 15 years ago using their vintage sleigh, and these mini sessions in November are always my favorite way to kick off the holidays! My favorite part is getting to see some of my favorite families, year after year!
Side note- the hot glue gun burns on my fingers from making all of the paper bag snowflakes were worth it as it ended up being a favorite backdrop for image choices this year!

When your cousin gets engaged to the most amazing guy, you have to come out of Engagement photography and facebook posting retirement to capture their love, especially considering these two have been our photo team for our Christmas card for the last 5 years. Hannah usually snaps the photo on Thanksgiving and Ryan does ridiculous things to make my kids laugh like coming dressed in a full Buddy the Elf costume complete with b***y shaking! We spent a gorgeous night together at the Bluffs in July and even though I ended up with a raging case of the craziest poison ivy ever from this session, it was totally worth it! To just say I love these two is an understatement... a match made in twin heaven, they are the definition of soulmates. We laugh so hard when together and my kids absolutely adore them both. I'm so glad Hannah found Ryan because he fits into our family so perfectly and I know that these two are destined for a life full of laughs and love. Hannah Fravor

It's crazy to think July of 2025 will mark my 15th year in business! What started as a passion in high school learning to develop my own film, quickly blossomed into a Studio Concentration at Nazareth College with a Photography Minor in my Art Education studies, which then turned into my first big girl job at a local photography studio learning from the BEST straight out of college, finally onto starting my own small business back in 2010!
I have always loved capturing life through the lens but more importantly I have loved the relationships and friendships that have grown from my passion. When I first started out I was doing constant sessions, running all over the place to all different locations with my camera around my neck, capturing weddings, engagements, babies, and families. I loved the craziness of it all and using my creative gene so regularly! Fast forward to the birth of my twins in 2018 when photography had to take a back seat while I learned to juggle family life along with my full time teaching job while also keeping up with this side business. Lucky for me, I work with THE BEST families around who have always graciously understood the shift in my availability and who still stuck around working with me as session options became more limited each year. I have been quiet on this page for the past few years because as I learned to balance it all, I was content with the groups who continue to come back to me year after year so that I am able to capture their memories and watch their babies grow! As I reach this business milestone I wanted to put it out there that I am still creating, still recording memories for loved ones, still doing one of my favorite things outside of teaching art and being a mom! It might look a little different than where I started back in 2010 but I can't thank you all enough for helping me keep this dream going for 15 years and counting!

At this point in my photography career my session options are seasonal with a set location and theme. Scheduling is done privately when people reach out via text or email. A new thing I'm trying for 2025 is updates via email from my website contact list with future dates, schedules, and session visuals. If I haven't seen you in a while and you're ready to connect again for photos just reach out! Up next I have the awesome opportunity to use a friend's vintage, restored Patriotic Truck and beautiful backyard for summer mini sessions again!

Happy Birthday to my boys who are FOUR-ever sweet! I craved watermelon nonstop when I was pregnant with these two and I knew I wanted to include that into one of their Birthday sessions once they were born! (Yes, my mind works this far in advance with creative ideas, it's a bit much!!!) Thank god they are used to their photographer mama and know that photos only take 10 mins tops in our backyard as long as they cooperate! The best smiles and best laughs that light up all of my days!

I have been very quiet on this page for the last year as I slowed things down with my business, but I need to spread the word about this sweet girl who is part of two of my absolute favorite families that I grew up with in Mexico. Sweet Violet just turned 19 months old and was recently diagnosed with an aggressive and extremely rare type of leukemia called JMML. It is so rare that 1-2 children out of a million are diagnosed with it a year, and 0.03% get the mutation she carries. This feisty little fighter is currently in the hospital facing chemo treatments like a champ and will need a bone marrow transplant in the next couple of months. I was so thankful to be able to meet Kelsi and Zach at their family apple orchard to spend a short amount of time capturing Violet's s***k and gorgeous little smile before she started her more aggressive treatments. This family is incredible and takes this devastating news in stride still managing to give tickles, snuggle in for belly laughs, and hold hands as they face this fight together. They continue to amaze me with their strength and positivity. Violet is SO strong and continues to smile, giggle, and put on a happy face even with everything that is going on! So now comes the part where you can help! First off by sending ALL of the good vibes, love, prayers, and positive thoughts their way for Violet. Please consider making a donation to their GoFundMe page to help this sweet family, and their courageous girl.

I am looking forward to a celebration session when Violet kicks this cancer to the curb! She is a remarkable little girl who is going to show JMML who's boss!

Year 10 (!) of Xmas minis in the books! Leave it to 2020 to be the first time I’ve ever had to adjust my schedule because of nasty weather that is predicted for tomorrow and also the first time I’ve ever had cancellations due to quarantine! What a crazy year?! (Hence my TP tree!) But luckily I have super cooperative, flexible families who were all able to switch things around and come today with a totally different schedule, notified the day before! 15 families back to back and we got it all in! I am beat, but couldn’t have done it without my support team. KP alone with the kids from 8-5, my dad driving things I forgot from his house bringing us lunch and Kit Kat’s of course- and most of all my mom who stays with me every year outside in the cold for every single family, helps me lug all of my crap around and is already sending me ideas for next year. It takes practically the entire Village of Mexico over here but we get the job done! @ Molly-Johns Farm

So I've been doing my best to juggle twin toddlers (send help!), teaching full time, and my photo gig but the one area I'm really slacking is posting galleries on here for everyone to see once I finish the edits! While working on Drew's "1/2 Way to First" session that we photographed a couple weeks ago, it dawned on me that I never posted his adorable newborn session from this summer and it's a must see. He is the cutest little muggle ever and still the happiest, most content baby around! So enjoy two sessions in one because I can't believe this little guy is 6 months already!

February is usually such a cold, dreary month--- unless you're celebrating with one of the most fun loving couples I have ever met! These two are a blast and so are all of their friends and family! From the SU garb, to a WWE entrance into their reception complete with a champion belt, to a Sweet Caroline Father Daughter dance to show off his Red Sox pride, much to the groom's dismay! But the highlight of the night was when the bridal party surprised these die-hard SU Football fans with the Syracuse Fight Song and in flies Otto the Orange onto the dance floor! I don't think I stopped smiling the entire day with each new surprise that came along (except maybe during the Best Man speech when he successfully made every single person in the room cry, me--- a stranger included!) I have no doubt that these two will keep laughing together for many years to come! Thanks for letting Kyle and I crash your amazing party! GO ORANGE!

I could not have planned a more perfect weekend weather-wise for this year's Christmas Mini Sessions! We had a ton of snow in Mexico but it wasn't brutally cold like it usually is! It was picture perfect and I wish I could order this every year from Mother Nature! Special thanks to Molly-Johns Farm for hosting my tree farm day and putting the extra sweet touches like the hot cocoa bar and treats to feed the donkeys! And as always, special thanks to my family because it seriously is a group effort to pull these off every year! My parents let me take over their house and create these ridiculous set-ups every single year and we have so much fun! Plus my hubby held down the fort for the entire weekend with the twins so that alone is award worthy! Christmas time is always my favorite and I love kicking off the season with some of my favorite families each year! Thanks to all of you who come out and make it special!
