This was my first Track Tour sponsored by Ford/Ford Performance out in Buttonwillow Raceway. They had several cars on display, which one of them was the new GT40 and the upcoming, much anticipated Focus RS. Tours about the cars, history about Ford and how Ford got to where they are now with Ford Performance. I got to drive the new GT350R around the track with a professional race car driver beside me, and then one hot lap with a pro on the wheels. Condoments and some refreshments were on hand. Then a special little "Thank You" gift from Ford for coming out and learning about Ford Performance.

Who knew Bakersfield has something nice to offer. This was my first time here in more than 3 years that I can actually claim as a resident for the city of Bakersfield, but been up and down for 10+ years. I can say that the little bridge they have has a resemblance to Lucerne's Chapel Bridge, but thats pushing it. I will for sure to be back here again and capture this place in a different lighting. I just hope that we can all pitch in and try to keep our city as clean as possible.
