Becoming a mother has been the greatest blessing God has ever given me.

I love my baby more than I ever knew it was possible to love another human being. That little smile, those tiny hands, and every milestone remind me daily of God's goodness. I would choose this life over and over again.

But if I'm being honest, I've also been grieving the woman I used to know.

The weight I've gained has been difficult to accept. The anxiety has been exhausting. Some days I look in the mirror and barely recognize the person staring back at me. I've questioned my worth, my confidence, and even my identity.

Yet through every tear, every anxious thought, and every moment of feeling lost, God continues to remind me that my identity was never found in a number on the scale or the reflection in the mirror. My identity is found in Him.

He didn't stop loving me because my body changed.
He didn't stop calling me because I feel broken.
He didn't stop seeing beauty in me because I can't see it myself.

He's using this season to grow me in ways I never expected.

So if you're another mama struggling silently, I want you to know this: you are not failing. You are not forgotten. You are not alone.

Motherhood may have changed you, but it didn't diminish you. God is still writing your story, and He is faithful to restore what feels lost.

I'm choosing to trust Him one day at a time. To care for the body He's given me. To quiet the anxiety with His promises. To believe that He will help me find myself again—not the woman I was before, but the woman He's shaping me to become.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose"

Momma, take the photos with your babies. Even when you dont feel like it. I promise it'll be worth it.

I had SUCH a great time with Madi last evening! She is absolutely full of smiles, laughter, and so much fun. 💛
I'm definitely a little jealous of what a champion she is—both behind the camera and in all of her sports! Just look at all those medals! 🏅 She even made sure to point out that some of them were gold ones too. 😂
It was such a joy getting to spend the evening capturing this amazing girl! Thank you for having me during this special milestone!
