For years now, my life has been touched by deep loss and chronic, debilitating panic and anxiety, as well as challenges in my marriage and personal life. I couldn’t see past the darkness and eventually found myself stuck in trauma loops. Picking up Ruth Simon’s book enabled me to see the value in relearning the difficult work of mind renewal, not based on my own understanding nor the overwhelming and empty advice from social media platforms. Turning to the comfort and wisdom of the Lord has enabled me to value myself as His child and to make healthy and grace-filled daily choices in my thoughts and life. And that has made all the difference.
