The beautiful thing about photographing women over 40? Meeting these badass fighters that have a story to tell. I find that especially women in their 50s are going through such a metamorphosis in these years and becoming who they were truly meant to be. Especially after years of putting everyone else first. It is SO inspiring to meet women like Jennifer who are truly becoming…and the transition is 10/10 🔥

I bonded with cellist Erica Ransbottom Holloway many many years ago in the wedding world and we have kept up with each other. So amazing to watch these amazing musicians and be in the presence of their talent! 🎶

Some ladies come to the studio and a fire gets set off inside them. Something comes out that has been hidden a long time. That happened with Stacey. From the first flash, her inner model came out and it was just smooth sailing for me from there! It’s so inspiring to get to know every woman that walks in the studio. Everyone has so many stories and such different lives. Some stories spill over to lunch afterward. I’m so glad to have made a new friend in Stacey and even though she lives across the country I know we will remain in touch. And party with her at the gala💃👯‍♀️🪩

Meet the incredible Chandra!!
Chandra came to the studio on her 50th birthday and brought her beautiful daughter with her to join our hype squad. It was such a fun shoot that involved a lot of dancing to 90s hip hop (our fave) 💃
It was such a great way to celebrate a big milestone…and plus, she was all made up for dinner with the fam afterward. A win-win!
