Back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, I shot a lot of assignments for People Magazine. I never thought I would shoot for the Sexiest Man issue. Who knew?!
The subject was Lee Godwin, owner of Skydive Miami. He was a former model and was a stunt skydiver in movies such as Passenger 57. He was very nice and actually offered to take me skydiving. I politely declined and shot these on the ground with my Hasselblad 501CM! The portrait was shot with the 80mm lens and the wing photo with a 40mm. Fuji Provia 100, 120 chrome. Lit with a Dynalite 400 UniJr.

Hall of Fame manager Bobby Cox, who led the Atlanta Braves to 14 consecutive division titles and a World Series championship, has died at 84.

Our sincerest condolences go out to his wife, Pam, their family, and the entire baseball community. I was lucky enough to be the MLB Photographer who documented his Hall Of Fame announcement at the 2014 MLB Winter Meetings and I shot the Hall of Fame’s portraits for Bobby Cox, Tony LaRussa and Joe Torre.

The WWE released alot of good wrestlers yesterday. It’s always heartbreaking to see people you like leaving the business they love. Good luck to Zoey Stark, Dexter Lumis, Malik Blade, Apollo Crews and Alba Fire. I loved working with them and making their portraits.
