I nearly melted into a puddle of disbelief when Eli’s mom pulled up a photo of him as a tiny little guy at one of my first Christmas mini sessions! I’m constantly reminded, by my own kids growth, how swiftly time moves.

Time works a little differently when you’re a photographer- you see families once or twice a year.. then before you know it, you’re taking senior portraits of a kid (grown fella!!) who you swear was 6 only a few years ago 🥹

Feeling so blessed to be capturing so many seasons of life for you all 🫶 (Also feeling a little old but that’s a conversation for another day 😅)

Nothing makes me more nostalgic for my childhood than the quiet (loud lol) hum of extended family sessions. Filled with multiple generations, barefoot cousins, and aunts and uncles sending funny little jabs at each other- because razzing is their love language ♥️

Feelin’ like the luckiest mama because I get to do special things like take my girls class graduation photos. (There’s maybe nothing more fun and tiring than hanging out with 3 and 4 year olds 😅❤️)

Listen, I take my winter hibernating very seriously, but the grass is showing and the birds are birding so I’ll try real hard to stop hoarding these cutie photos. Miss Lainey and her florals, sweet as can be 💕

People ask me (again, literally no one lol) why it takes me so long to post my sessions on my social media platforms and all I can say is that it took me an hour to pick these photos, airdrop them to my phone and put them into this little swipey number you’re looking at now. I’m not asking for a medal, just a little pat on the back IS ALL, K?! 😅

Please don’t ask about the weddings I haven’t shared yet that happened 6+ months ago..

On a more relevant note- I love so biggg for this session with cousins, aunts, uncles, great grandma, the neighbors dog, hot cocoa and donuts (oh and my gal Rooney got to tag along for this session and hang with her friends for a bit, too 🍩☺️❤️)
