I just love taking senior portraits and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with this awesome young lady a few weeks ago. Delaney is incredibly sweet and was so much fun to work with. We enjoyed wandering the Zilker Botanical Gardens and found tons of lovely spots to capture her personality and beauty. We got incredibly lucky with the weather too!

Delaney is graduating from McNeil High School this spring. She is an accomplished swimmer and has received a scholarship to swim for Southwestern University in the fall. Congratulations Delaney!

This was such a fun senior portrait session! Trenton's one and only request for his senior portraits was that they include his car. Having never really photographed a car before, I wasn't so sure how to best go about this. We decided on this empty parking garage and I think it worked out great! There wasn't much to it, but it really put the focus on Trenton and his car, which was perfect.

Trenton's enthusiasm and smile are seriously contagious, and he was such a joy to work with. It's always inspiring to get to see a young person really in their element. For some it's music or sports, for Trenton it's all about cars!

Trenton is graduating from Georgetown High School this month. Congratulations and best of luck in your next adventures!

I love taking senior portraits, but it's even more fun when it's my awesome nephew! We wandered around downtown Austin for these and had fun finding random cool spots to work with. Alex wasn't so sure he would like being in front of the camera, but he warmed up to it and we ended up with some great images. I'd even go so far as to say he had fun posing for the soccer ball images!

Alex is graduating from McNeil High School and is pretty sure he's going to choose Engineering at Texas A&M for his next adventure. Congratulations Alex, I couldn't be more proud!

Abby's Senior Portraits

Senior portraits are one of my favorite things to do. I just love getting to know these wonderful young people that are about to get out there and take on the world.

We took Abby's senior pictures at the Zilker Botanical Gardens. It was a gloomy rainy day and we thought about cancelling, but I'm so glad we decided to just go for it. The light was gorgeous and the rain held out for us well enough to get some beautiful images.

Abby is a senior at McNeil High School this year and graduates in the spring. This young woman isn't just gorgeous, she's also really smart and ambitious. She plans to go to Texas A&M in the fall, and I have no doubt she'll go on to do amazing things.

This beautiful family was long overdue for some professional family portraits. It had been over ten years! I was absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them and capture this wonderful time in their lives. We lucked out on gorgeous weather and were able to really capture the sweet dynamic they have together in a beautiful natural setting. I hope they can really cherish these images for many years to come.

Emma & John's Engagement Portraits - I've been photographing Emma's family for over ten years now, and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to be her wedding photographer next spring!

Emma and John were so much fun at their engagement portrait session. Summer in Texas is no joke, but these two somehow managed to look amazing and really enjoy the time together despite the heat. The joy in their eyes when they look at each other says it all. Congratulations you two, I can't wait for the big day!

Lulu's Senior Portraits

I just loved taking senior portraits for this gorgeous girl! We had a hard time deciding on the perfect location for her graduation photos and ended up finding some really beautiful spots just right around the corner.

I've known Lulu for some time and really admire her drive and spirit. She's tons of fun and smart to boot! Lulu is graduating from McNeil High School this week and is all set to head to A&M Galveston this fall to study Marine Biology. I cant' wait to see what comes next for her.

Congratulations Lulu! I know you'll do great at A&M!

Charlotte at Seven Years Old

I have had the pleasure of photographing this sweet girl every year since she was just a few weeks old. Seeing her personality grow and change is so much fun! This year was no exception. We talked all about losing BOTH of her front teeth, real princesses (not those silly Disney ones) and Harry Potter as we worked our way around the park taking her portraits. Charlotte is just as sweet, smart, and funny as ever. I can't wait to see what she's into next year!

Nate's Senior Portraits

I met the Malone family a few years ago when we took family portraits and was so honored when they asked me to take Nate's senior portraits.

Nate wanted to shoot at San Gabriel Park and we got lucky and ended up with an absolutely gorgeous day out there. I just loved working with this sweet kid. He is so easy going and just exudes kindness. Nate is graduating from Georgetown High School this May and plans to go on study Electrical Engineering.

Congratulations Nate! Oh, and Happy Birthday too!

Cam's Senior Portraits - It's hard to believe Cameron is already graduating from high school! I've had the pleasure of watching Cameron grow from a sweet little kid hanging around at my chiropractor's office into a sweet young man ready to get out into the world and start his next life adventure.

Cameron wanted his senior portraits taken around the Seaholm District, and what a great idea it was! We started out down by the lake and then explored all around the old Austin power plant. There were so many cool spots to work with for his senior portraits! Of course, there were a ton of spots we wished we could have used that were off limits (apparently Cam is quite good at climbing), but it was still perfect.

Cameron just graduated from McNeil High School's Health Science Academy. Congratulations Cam, I wish you all the best in your next journey!
