Back in August of 2024, Samantha reached out to me about engagement photos and possibly photographing their wedding weekend. What’s wild is… I met her sister in Indianapolis almost 10 years ago 🥹 Her and her husband are now living in Dallas, and I just love little full-circle moments like this.

We started with their engagement session at the Texas State Capitol and ended the night on a rooftop parking garage overlooking Austin. A few months later, I was packing up my gear, driving to Dallas, checking into the hotel with everyone, and getting to document their entire wedding weekend 🤍

The morning started at Fairmont Dallas with everyone getting ready before we all shuttled over to DEC on Dragon just outside of the city for the wedding day. It honestly felt like spending the weekend with friends by the end of it all.

These are the kinds of weddings that remind me how small the world really is. One connection from almost a decade ago somehow leading me here — documenting one of the biggest weekends of their lives and my biggest wedding yet!! 🥹✨

I feel like that’s one of the weirdest parts of this job sometimes. I photograph people in these huge life moments and then, all of a sudden, I’m looking back at the photos wondering how the baby is already here and probably crawling around now lol

This session was so simple and sweet. Just good light, lots of movement, talking about life, and documenting a season they'll think about for the rest of their lives 🥹💛

From the second I got there, it just felt like them—laid back, a little nostalgic, and genuinely so fun to be around. Ellie told me she wanted things to feel vintage, romantic, and playful, and it all came together so naturally without forcing a single thing ✨

Chapel Home in the fall is unreal. The November light was soft in the best way, the historic details did their thing, and every corner just worked. One of those days where you don’t have to try too hard… ✨

Obsessed is an understatement 🤍✨

Micaela & Justin said “we want our wedding to feel like us and enjoy our people” and that meant timeless, intentional, and just the right amount of unhinged by the end of the night (my favorite kind of wedding tbh😛)

The day started soft + classic — all the white tones, happy tears, and a private first look. Then the music hit, disco balls spun, tacos served, and suddenly it turned into a full on party with zero rules!!!

This is your reminder that your wedding doesn’t have to fit into one box. It can be elegant AND chaotic, emotional AND wildly fun. Camino Real Ranch was the perfect venue for that! You get both. You deserve both. Still not over this one 🪩🌮💃🏼
