The owls title is “Wise” and the eyes glow in the dark and… has a secret bug in the picture.

The Eagles are titled “Isaiah 40:31”. It is made out of rope, pinecones, berries, leaves, dried flowers and much more.

Both are 3D paintings. You will love them. The judge did!

I just wanted to let you know that I am cleaning out my inventory so I can create and paint more! I have so many ideas and I have been doing a lot of texture 3D paintings lately. (I think it my new thing) But that means that it is time to clean house.

Here is the time lapse video of the Owl I recently did. It is a study in texture and a blue/green color pallet. Many many hours, and sometimes weeks and months go into these painting. Lots of detail in this one. The feathers on his chest are old music book pages, the beak is gel matte, along with the wood. The eyes glow if you set them under the light for a while, I used templates around the eyes and around it's ears. It has a 20"x60" canvas a a floating frame that goes with it which exposes the back so you can see my signature, date, and what I painted it with. All Acrylic and sprayed it with Krylon workable fixative. The best in the business to keep things protected and stay on the canvas.

It's titled "Wise" and will be entering into the Arapahoe County Fair in July and will be available for purchase after that for $200, not including shipping. The shipping will be from Pirate Shipping the most reliable and reasonable shipping out there!

It's been a really long time. My husband passed away last year, 8 months ago. It's been hard to get motivated again when he was my biggest fan... but here I go again!

Isaiah 40:31 AL
This 28" x 22" VERY mixed media canvas was inspired by Jackie and Shadow at the Big Bear Lake in California. I have been following them for the last two years and saw a opportunity to do this painting of them and their two little girls of 2026, Sandy and Luna. This painting is so special for a number of reasons. I am going to enter it in the Arapahoe County Fair to try to win another placed piece. I have placed 1st the last two times I have entered, and I think I have another winner here! I wanted to make this piece even more special. I made it 3D! The nest is made of gouache watercolor, Indian ink, plaster, gel matte, acrylic paint, unraveled rope, pine needles, pinecones, real feathers, dried elderberry, dried, rose petals, and dried lavender. The sky. trees, babies and eagles are purely painted in acrylic paint with very painstakingly technics. There's one more feather I put in there on the bottom left that I found on my walk that said to me... put me in the painting too! It is all sprayed with a protective fixatif that will safely let you hang it in a "hands off" level in your home without worrying about it decaying. This is a very special piece, and if it wins a reward, I will make sure to copy that award and send it with the picture.

Isaiah 40:31 says:
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
