Today we had the opportunity to volunteer our time alongside Barb’s Pet Project at Petpalooza in Auburn, and it was a reminder of why we do what we do. From handcrafted pet scarves to meeting amazing people and animals with their own unique journeys, every conversation today mattered.

A portion of every sale through Barb’s Pet Project goes directly back to supporting local animal charities and rescue efforts. These pets all have stories of resilience, second chances, and unconditional love. That mission aligns closely with what we believe at Ray Waliany LLC. My Signature. Your Story. Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there.

Today is about celebrating the women who hold families together through sacrifice, strength, patience, and unconditional love.

To my wife Carolyn Waliany, thank you for standing beside me through the chaos, long shifts, late nights, business ideas, victories, setbacks, and everything in between. Thank you for being the heart of our family and an amazing mother to our children.

To my mom Lynette Lal Waliany, thank you for the work ethic, support, and values that helped shape who I am today. So much of what I build and strive for comes from the example you set.

To my mother-in-laws Sue Lind, thank you for your love, support, guidance, and for helping shape the incredible woman I’m lucky enough to call my wife. Our family is stronger because of you.

Another custom project wrapped up for a brother at CPFR.

He reached out looking for a set of custom leather coasters, and together we brought the vision to life using premium full grain Hermann Oak leather. We worked through the details and landed on square coasters featuring the department logo paired with bold red stitching for a clean, timeless look.

From concept to finished product, this entire set was completed in under 24 hours start to finish. That’s what I enjoy most about custom work. Collaborating with people to create something personal, functional, and built to last.

Another tote bag complete.

Every bag teaches me something new. Every cut, every rivet, every handle placement, every little imperfection becomes part of the process. That’s what makes this release special.

Introducing another piece from my “Lessons Learned” Collection.

These bags are fully functional, handcrafted by yours truly, and built one at a time while I continue refining the craft. They may carry minor imperfections, but that’s also what makes them real. No factory lines. No mass production. Just time, effort, mistakes, improvements, and growth stitched into every piece.

My first tote bag… ever.

Not gonna lie, I’ve been putting this off for a while. The stitching, the construction, figuring out where to even start… it all looked intimidating as hell.

But once I got into it… it really wasn’t.

That’s the lesson right there.
Most things look harder in your head than they actually are. Don’t let that stop you.

You gotta be willing to suck at something first. Fail. Learn. Do it again better.

This one isn’t perfect. I already see things I want to change, improve, refine. But that’s the whole point.

One day I’ll look back at this bag as the starting point.
