In the gripping depths of our 120 ft scuba dive, my focus shifted from spearing a fish to a life-or-death rescue. Derek, in the midst of a full blown panic attack, signaled his desperate need for air. Ben and I were dropped off in the water along a w**d patch by
We were drifting for awhile and almost felt like we should pick up and try elsewhere.
Then, Mahi started swimming by and my eyes blew up.
I shot and missed. Turned my head to tell Ben and heard his gun go off. Boom he shot a nice one. I secured a second safety shot for him. Can you spot the Harry Potter scar?

First red snapper speared at 55 ft deep freediving!

I wasn’t seeing much at the bottom and decided to do one last dive with no intention of shooting anything and to just have fun.

As soon as I got closer to the bottom, two snapper appeared and started swimming away. But, this guy turned to check me out😋

“We’re supposed to.”

Keep evolving. As the years go on, I think we’re supposed to change. Our values change as we learn more about ourselves, what we want out of life, who we want in our life, and what we want to do with our life.

We learn what we want to accept in our lives. We learn about the values we want to live by and the people that meet those values.
Our priorities change. We re-discover our identities.

Just as a snake sheds it’s skin, we can shed layers of ourselves. We can shed people out of our lives that don’t align with us. We can shed a piece of our old self.
We can hold onto our essence while evolving into someone new.

What a beautiful thing that we can do exactly what we want with our time on this earth. We don’t have to follow just one path.
