Day 4: Melk, Austria 🇦🇹

After a beautiful morning cruising through the Wachau Valley, we arrived in Melk and toured the incredible Melk Abbey, followed by a choir concert and traditional Austrian folk dancing.

Then we explored this charming little town on our own and somehow stumbled into the perfect Austrian afternoon—live Blasmusik, free shots, Wiener schnitzel and, of course, gelato. 🇦🇹🍨

One last feature for Adelyn as she settles into life at the University of Alabama. ❤️

I’ve shared quite a few favorites from Adelyn’s session, but this time I’m sharing something a little different — what her mom had to say about the experience.

One thing she wrote especially meant a lot to me: that together we created something “beautiful and classic that told the story of who our daughter is.” That is always the goal. ❤️

𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 💙

Sweet, bubbly, compassionate, and just plain FUN to photograph, Alyssa brought so much joy to her senior session. She told me her friends would describe her as “friendly, compassionate, and silly,” and I’d say these photos captured all three!

Alyssa stays busy with colorguard, and she loves reading and crafting. She says the three most important things in her life are her faith, her family, and her friends. And when I asked her the one thing she wanted people to know about her, her answer was simple: “𝐈’𝐦 𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬!”

I loved spending time with this sweet girl and creating portraits that feel so genuinely Alyssa - right down to the cowboy boots, flowers, and that smile you simply cannot miss. ✨

Senior Sunday with Zoe 💙

Zoe described herself as calm, friendly, and happiest outdoors—and I think these images capture that side of her perfectly. She’s a cross-country and track runner, a lifeguard, an animal lover, and someone who would choose bare feet over shoes whenever possible. 😊

We incorporated a few things that made the session especially personal, including beautiful roses her mom brought and Zebra, the stuffed animal who’s been with Zoe for almost her entire life. 🦓

Zoe hopes to become a veterinarian someday, which seems pretty fitting for a girl who loves animals as much as she does. And be sure to swipe all the way to the end—when asked who her biggest role model is, Zoe didn’t hesitate: “My mom. She’s organized and on top of everything.” 💙 Seems like the perfect reason to let Mom have the last photo.
