With October rushing out of here like it has somewhere to be, I’m still thinking about my time at Black Travel Summit in Milwaukee! 🖤📸

I got to spend the weekend behind the camera as part of Black Travel Summit’s media team, but one of my favorite parts of conferences like this is meeting people I’ve followed online and finding out they’re just as cool in person! 😂 It’s so nice getting to connect beyond the screen and meeting people who share your love for travel.

I left feeling so grateful for the conversations, the new friendships, and all the inspiration. And idk about y’all but I’m already making plans for Benin! ✨
Many thanks to Visit Milwaukee and Black Travel Summit for bringing us all together! Scroll through to see my favorite moments and behind the scenes of me putting in that werk! 📸

A night at The Iron Horse Hotel 🖤🏍️

I stayed here during Black Travel Summit, and I loved how much character this place has. Housed in a historic warehouse, the hotel mixes industrial design, exposed brick, and warm, cozy spaces with motorcycle-inspired details throughout.
From exploring the library and lounging by the fireplace to playing a little pool and grabbing dinner at The Yard, it was a fun spot to unwind after a busy day in Milwaukee.

Thank you to the The Iron Horse Hotel team for hosting me! 🖤

Your Favorite Travel Photographer stepped out last night with my take on the dandyism theme for Black Travel Summit VICtor Awards Gala. Although I didn’t take home the Photographer of the Year award, being a finalist for the 2nd year in a row is still an immense honor. I can’t wait for next year’s summit in Explore Benin ! You know I wouldn’t miss that for the world. 🇧🇯

Two weeks until Central Asia. 🥹✈️

In just two weeks, I’ll be heading to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for a two-week photography project documenting the people, places, and cultures of the historic Silk Road.

I’ve been planning this trip for months: pitching hotels, reaching out to tourism boards, booking trains and flights, and putting together an itinerary that I’m so excited to finally experience. It still doesn’t quite feel real.

If you’ve been following my work for a while, you know how much I love telling stories through photography, especially in places that don’t always get the spotlight. I can’t wait to share this one with you.

If you’ve ever wanted to support my work but haven’t had the chance to book a shoot, this is a wonderful way to be part of this project. 💛

Whether it’s the cost of a coffee, helping cover transportation, or just sharing this post, every bit of support helps me create the best work I can while I’m there.

And since this trip also happens to fall right around my birthday 🥳, if you were thinking about getting me a gift, supporting this project would honestly mean the world to me.

Absolutely no pressure at all. Following along, cheering me on, and sharing my work means just as much.

Here’s to another trip around the sun… and around the Silk Road. 🌞🌏🇰🇿🇺🇿

Finally made it back home after sailing with 🚢✨🇧🇸

I joined the Creator Voyage as a photographer alongside , and honestly I’m still processing how good it was.

There were so many Black and Brown, disabled, and LGBTQ+ creators on goers! It felt very intentional! You could tell they actually care about who they’re bringing into these spaces.

And as a travel photographer, that matters. Who gets to experience something shapes how the story gets told.

I’ve got a camera roll full of moments I can’t wait to share, so give me a minute to get my life together 😭

Full recap coming soon.

Shoutout to for being the masterminds behind it all! You both didn’t miss a BEAT!
