I have extensive experience with Final Cut Pro, which enables me to address all elements of the video production process from pre-production to post-production to replication and delivery of final product. For visual effects compositing and 2D animation I use After Effects. For my editing I use Adobe PremierCC..along with the other apps in the Adobe suite. I have a vast arsenal of equipment in my production studio; My studio offers many resources available to potential employers including various microphones, Pro lighting kits, 4K cameras with Atmos Ninja V video recorder capturing uncompressed video…Sony NX-80 and a HVR-Z7U for 1080P work. Picked up a small box of 8mm reels….most empty reels….but nice Bell & Howells. There was two smaller reels with some film stock on them…dying to get those loaded up on the scanner. One has Biltmore written on the front….could be very cool 🙂

So I thought I would release another game hi-light reel from back in the old days. Joel Hillsman in the booth calling the game...this one had someone sitting in with him...can't remember his name. The game was Friday Oct 11 2011. The teams were McEachern High School vs Hillgrove High. Both teams were located in Powder Springs GA. Interesting sidenote...one of the Hillgrove players was Kenyan Drake, running back. He played for Packers as well as several other NFL teams for eight seasons before retiring in 2024.

So one of the reels of 8mm film I got weeks ago came in a small original Kodak box. This small pamphlet fell out when I open it up. I was so cool, it had all the trouble shooting tips for your processed film. There was no google or and download PDF files back then. Everything you needed to problem solve was in a little piece of paper. Simpler times for sure.

So...last night at my sons round 3 playoff game, they lost. And just like that it's over! Being a graduating senior and not playing in collage means we are done with Lacrosse. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed being in my sons Lacrosse universe. I will miss it dearly. I ask him if I could have one of his broken sticks laying around in the garage, I cut the broken part off and half ass attached the head back on....it will never see another game...but I like its new home, in my office!

So almost done with the last lot of 8mm and Super 8 film reels I bought. I just want to get the all digitized and on my hard drive. The guy I bought them from said there was some cool stuff on them, he was right about that. One has old footage from Cypress Gardens another one is from late 50s at a shooting range. When I get time I try and post a few nice clips

So...I know I said I would start posting the old High School football high lite reels every Friday night as kind of a Friday night lights thing, but here is one a day early :) The game is The Parkview High Panthers in Lilburn Ga hosting the Grayson High Rams...once again the announcing was done by Joel Hillsman who always brings the excitement level up to the top!

So here is a segment from the 8mm lot of film I bought several weeks ago...pretty cool, the whole film seems to be a hunting fishing expedition in Alaska. There was no date on the card board box, but several of the other film reels have dates in the late 50s. This is from the raw scan...I will post an expanded section of this once I clean it up and restore color. Hopefully I can get the rest scanned soon.
