First post of 2026! In honor of that, I’d love to share some firsts I’m looking forward to this year 🥰
✨ The first year (in about 8 years) that I will not film a wedding. Some days I still can’t believe I’ve fully made the switch to photography. I talked about and wrestled with this for so many months, and it truly does feel so aligned. To say the switch from Thread Film Co. to Sydney Bryant has been bittersweet doesn’t even begin to describe all the feelings that have come with this decision. I stand for all of the same things- with human connection being my driving force- but it was time for my site and logos to catch up to the change :) I am in the process of switching everything over, and .co has made that even more seamless. My site is now sydneybryant.co and my logos have also been switched! So much thought went into changing my business to Sydney Bryant- it allows me to be known as an artist and gives me the freedom to express that artistry without any boxes. As small as it may seem, I am so eager for the big changes that come with it and everything this year is going to be. I cannot thank my friends, clients, and family enough for the trust and encouragement to make this decision and to make it possible 🫶🏼
✨Maybe the biggest first in 2026- growing our family. The year I become a mom, learn how to parent with the best partner, and experience all the firsts that come with such a big life change. Our little girl will be here in April and this is definitely the most exciting, nerve racking, and surreal first we could ever experience. I can’t wait to bring her into our world and learn what our new world will look like.
✨2026 will be the first full year in our new neighborhood (Grant Park) in atl. Atlanta has given us so much - community, growth, opportunities, and so much self discovery. I am so excited to continue to build my business here and give back.
Wishing everyone a very beautiful year full of as many firsts as you want 🤍
