Just a little off topic of drone repair. I have recently purchased an EVGA 2070 Super Ultra XC . It works fantastic with Davinci Resolve 16. I am planning on using Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on the gpu chip. When I removed the cooler for inspection, I noticed a lot of area that can be cooled by a good heat transfer thermal pad. I cannot wait to see what kind of temps that I will be able to achieve. I will be using Gelid GC Extreme 3.0 mm 12W/m-K pads. Will be posting pics of the job as it progresses. Have a great day all!!

Heads Up to all Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro owners
DJI has changed the design of the camera pitch and zoom scroll wheel assembly from the Mavic Pro design .
When calibrating joystick end points of the RC1A( Mavic 2 Zoom or Pro) controller, it is possible to exceed the scroll wheel's travel limit .
Easily .
All DJI product owners know that if you do not move the controls through their full range of travel during joystick end point calibration you can have trouble getting a good clean result .
When performing this procedure on the RC1A controller be careful when you get to the scroll wheels .
Both of them .
The travel limiter is not as robust on these new controllers.
The scroll wheel travel limiter on the Mavic Pro are much more robust .
I do not have an image of the Mavic Pro design because I have not had to work on them.
Below is an image of the RC1A Mavic 2 Zoom design.
One image is the healthy left side scroll wheel assembly.
One image will be of the right side scroll wheel assembly.
Be careful when calibrating both of them .

DJI Spark Gimbal Calibration

After replacing your DJI Spark camera and gimbal, you may find that your gimbal will not hold level .
After attempting all of the calibration options in your DJI Go 4 App the gimbal still does not hold level .
This can be very frustrating and can cause you to believe that your new gimbal is defective .
Do not give up on the gimbal .

This is the ribbon cable of a Phantom 3SE . I took this unit in today . The gimbal does not initialize on power up . The camera has good video signal out . The unit powers up as it is supposed to . The gimbal will not power up and level out . If any one out there runs across this issue after a high speed landing , this is a good place to check . This unit will receive a new ribbon cable and fly high once again .
