This has been a pretty great year! It was my first year as a full time wedding photographer (after 10 years of doing it as a side gig) and I was able to photograph the most weddings I've ever done before. Thank you to all the couples who trusted me and all the photographer friends who gave me an opportunity to serve their couples. I've learned a ton and met some amazing people!

In an attempt to get better at social media I bought Meta glasses. Spoiler alert: there's a learning curve to using them. I needed the world to see this. Wait until the end for the results. Hope this makes you laugh. Enjoy!

As a wedding photographer I'll never tell you what you HAVE to do. It's your wedding and you get to choose what traditions you keep or throw out. I will tell you though, first looks are an incredible way to spend some quiet time (and more overall time) with your future spouse.

You don't have the pressure of a hundred people staring at you when you first see eachother. For most couples, seeing their person before the ceremony eases their anxiety. Bonus: you get to hang out with friends and family after the ceremony since the majority of your photos are done!

I'm a sucker for a silhouette and a beautiful sunset! If you're able to, sunset portraits are a great way to spend some alone time with your new spouse on your wedding day and let the fact that you're now married sink in.
