This is why I LOVE sports photography! Because every now and then you are in the exact right place at the exact right time and you get a shot like this... a still image of an amazing play frozen in time. I love the challenge of trying to get these shots!

Just placed the last order for Christmas cards for 2014! I must admit that I feel just like the kiddos in this picture! While I haven't had much time to share many pictures from my fall sessions, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of my 2014 clients for giving me the privilege to photograph your family this year. Each session was a joy, and it's so fun to work with others while doing something I love! Remember, it's never too early to be thinking about next year. Book your photo sessions early to avoid the holiday rush. Merry Christmas everyone!

While children are my usual subjects, it was a fun change to photograph these siblings who wanted to surprise their parents with some pictures. They were a perfect example of how age doesn't matter... you can still act like children and have fun during a photo session!

This session was one of my favorites from the Holiday Mini sessions I did in the fall! It shows how colors and clothing choices can really play into the session. This mom did a great job picking a fun bright shirt for her daughter! And then brother blended nicely. Given that most of the colors from the trees had faded by then, it really helped brighten the pictures. Plus the fact that her two children have such pretty smiles didn't hurt either!

I had so much fun photographing this sweet family of sisters! Big sis was a lot of help keeping her sisters happy. It's always a joy to photograph young children and toddlers because they really don't know how to pose for the camera. I get the chance to just catch them having fun! And that's what these sisters did as we played with flowers and blew bubbles and explored in the tall grass...
