Thursday! Who is ready for the weekend? 🙋🏻‍♀️🙌🏼

I've met with this sweet family for nearly 8 years now and it has been so fun watching Juliana and Luke transition from young kids, to teens, and now young adults. As we near the month of Mother's Day, I was reminded that Nadine was always intentional about not only documenting her children, but also including her with their annual pictures. Personally, I prefer being on the other side of the camera, but it isn't always about what we prefer right? Our kiddos will cherish pictures with us when they are older. So, although we may feel uncomfortable being 'in' pictures, get out of that comfort zone and be present with those kiddos, off camera and in. ❤️

I love weddings!

Here is a glimpse into Landry & Michael's special day. Initially the ceremony was going to be outside in Highland Park, but due to our lovely Texas blizzard that came through, we moved indoors to their parents' gorgeous Highland Park home. They were such champs having some portraits done outdoors in the 20 degree weather. BRR!! Landry was a gorgeous bride in her gown, and worked that fur! Congrats to you both!

I love doing photoshoots in historic downtown areas. Starting out as an Atlanta photographer 13 year ago, it was so easy to find these quaint and charming locations. The eclectic storefronts, restaurants with live music, boutiques, art galleries, really brought out the best energy and vibe. So I was pretty stoked when the Piot family was game to have an afternoon strolling through downtown Mckinney. Justin and Vanessa, with their three kiddos - Hailey, Michael, and Grant - are always a blast to work with! Fun fact - I did several years of photo sessions of them in Southern California, so love that we are somewhat neighbors again and I can continue to document their lives. Another sweet fun fact?? This sweet fam is welcoming a new member to the family later this year! Can't wait to share some baby Piot journey with you!

I love to document each of my kiddo's birthdays. To have a yearly pic showing their growth, whether in height, features, personality, it's just fun to see the changes.

We all have such busy schedules these days between taxiing to school, sports, playdates, etc, that it becomes hard to fit anything in 'extra'. Rather than a full hour shoot, I offer mini sessions year round to document moments like this - it can be a cake smash, holding balloons, a themed birthday shoot, or something simple like these 'four' year portraits. It's the weekend!

To my fabulous Windsong Ranch neighbors (and surrounding areas too), we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful community. I met with Thais, Flavio, Helena, and little Salad (so cute, right?) for a fall mini session. The trails, trees, bridges, and light make the perfect backdrop so close to home. If you are ever in need of a session, and would like the convenience of a great location close, we literally have a gorgeous spot at our fingertips.

This past fall season, I met so many new wonderful families in Texas. I had five different dates of mini sessions at three new fab locations. I met the Henderson family (who came from OC a few years ago!) at this gorgeous spot in McKinney. This is a little village with a European feel, surrounded by mediterranean buildings, and cobblestone streets.

Supermom & Dad, Tara and Adam, are welcoming baby girl #3 to their tribe this year. Baylee, Shay, and Grayson sported each of their personalities throughout the shoot which made for some perfect take-aways. Keep scrolling for Grayson's 'I'm done with this’ face- THE BEST!
