“I don’t know how to pose.”

It’s one of the first things I sometimes hear.

And honestly, that’s completely okay.

You’re not expected to walk in knowing what to do in front of the camera.

That’s something I show you during the photoshoot experience, from how to stand to where to place your hands. You can relax knowing that I make sure you look fantastic.

If you’ve ever felt nervous about being photographed, you’re not alone. 🤍

What’s the first thought that comes to your mind when someone points a camera at you?

Your professional headshot should grow with you.

Because the person you were three years ago may not be the person showing up for opportunities, or walking into meeting rooms today.

Maybe your hair has changed.
Maybe your style has changed.
Maybe your confidence has changed.
Maybe your role, your business, or your season of life looks completely different now.

And yet, your old photo is still introducing you.

That is what my June 26th Headshot Special is designed for. You will be guided through the entire session so you do not have to worry about how to pose, what to do with your hands, or how to “look natural.”

I will help you get there.

If your current headshot no longer reflects who you are today, it's time for an update.

Nobody is afraid of a camera. They're afraid of being judged by one.
There's a difference.
The nervous laugh before a session. The "I'm just not photogenic" disclaimer that's offered. The way someone walks in, already apologizing for themselves.

That's not a camera problem. That's a confidence gap. The space between who you actually are and who you think you're supposed to look like when someone's watching.

Most people aren't struggling with how to show up. They know who they are. But here's what I know about confidence. It doesn't show up before the action someone wants to take. It shows up because of it.
You don't get comfortable in front of the camera by thinking about it. You get there with the right guidance, in a space where you feel safe.

The people who look great in photos? They don't always arrive that way. But they can get there because someone took the time to coach them through it.

Have you ever surprised yourself with how a photo turned out?

"She almost didn’t book the session."

She told me she wanted portraits for years. But every time she thought about booking, the same thoughts came up:

“I need to lose weight first.” “I’m awkward in photos.” “Maybe next year.”

What she didn’t realize was this: The women we admire in portraits were never waiting to become worthy of being seen.

They simply allowed themselves to exist in the frame.

And when she finally saw her portraits, she cried. Not because she looked different. But because she finally saw herself with softness.

✨ You deserve to be seen beautifully now.

It started with *Flaming June.*

A longtime client once asked me:
**“Could I become June?”**

Her favorite painting was Frederic Leighton’s *Flaming June* — the luminous woman draped in saffron silk. She loved it not simply as art, but as emotion, storytelling, and beauty frozen in time.

So I studied every detail.
The light.
The fabric.
The stillness.
The composition.

Then we recreated it together.

When she saw the final portrait, the woman inside the masterpiece was HER.

That moment became the beginning of *Become the Art: The Masterwork Session.*

Because portraits can be more than photographs.
They can become heirlooms.
Art that feels timeless.
A reflection of yourself seen with reverence, beauty, and intention.

✨ Become the art you’ve always admired,

I have lots of advice that I share all the time.

Here's what I tell every client who walks into my studio:
✔️ Remember to breathe. Take a deep breath occasionally because tension lives in the jaw and shoulders.
✔️ Think of someone you enjoy talking with before the shutter clicks. Your eyes will soften.
✔️ Don't hold the smile. Reset between frames.
✔️ Trust the photographer. If she's good, she's already seeing what you can't.

AI tried. But people notice something is off.

Let's be honest. AI headshots have gotten good. The lighting is clean. The background is crisp. The whole thing is a fast process.
And yet.
Something is off.
▪️The eyes don't quite land.
▪️The expression feels assembled.
▪️The person in the photo looks like a polished version of someone, just not necessarily you.

A skilled photographer captures who you are:
✨The way you hold your body when you feel confident,
✨The smile that actually reaches your eyes,
✨The version of you that makes someone want to pick up the phone and call.

No algorithm has figured that out yet.

Half the year is almost gone. If updating your headshot was on your list back in January, here's your sign to stop pushing it to next quarter or the next.

Our June 26th Headshot Special is open to both men and women, and spots will be completely filled soon.

This isn't a super rushed session where you get a photo and a "good luck." You'll be guided, coached, and photographed by a Certified Professional Photographer who has spent years helping people look and feel their absolute best on camera. Looking great in photos is a skill, and it's one I'll teach you on the spot.

Your LinkedIn profile, your website, your email signature, your speaking bio — they all lead with your face. Make sure what people see reflects where you are right now, not three jobs ago.

It started with Flaming June,

and a longtime client, friend, and art enthusiast. She loves Sir Fredrick Leighton's celebrated painting, Flaming June, and asked one day, "Could I become June?" I said yes before she finished the sentence.

I sourced the silk. I studied Leighton's composition, the way the light wraps the figure, the stillness of it, and the symbolism behind the work.

Then built it, piece by piece, the way the Old Masters would have, only on set for the photograph.
And when she saw herself inside that masterwork, she was amazed. It was a fantastic conversation piece and a compliment to her home.

That was the moment my Become the Art: The Masterwork Sessions offering was born.

✨ Because this type of session requires considerable attention and planning, I can only accept 3 Masterwork Sessions each year.

Comment MASTERWORK, and I'll send you the details.

He'd never spend this on himself.

That's exactly what makes it the perfect gift for Father's Day. Most men don't think about professional portraits.

They're humble. They're busy. But when someone who loves him steps in and says, "You deserve this", he sees himself through your eyes.

And your family ends up with portraits of him… as he really was, in this chapter, at his best.

📸 The Father's Day Men's Portrait Experience is about legacy.

Only 5 sessions. Book by June 15 for any available date in June.
