Shared these on some of the TF Facebook groups not long ago. I went back & did some part swapping & shaved some of the arm pegs. Height is on par with SS86 Optimus Prime & I'm happy with it. More work to come, then hopefully painting it up. 🤘🏻🍻

DOOMSDAY WIP (7/10/24) - Finally had time to work more on my Doomsday custom. I'm now using a 3D printed head based on Doomsday art by Dan Jurgens. I had added the extra shoulder spikes in a previous WIP update. I used Aves Apoxie Sculpt to sculpt the bottom of the "shorts/pants", sculpted new spikes on his elbows, & added some spine details.

I'll dremel some of these to rough them up & sharpen them a bit. The boots are from the chunky Bane figure that others have used. I have the head held on with blue tack for now, until I can sculpt a ball joint to fit & give more range of motion in the head (its hollow inside). I used Army Painter Air gray primer (brushed on) to prime it up like this, to help get a better feel of the overall design I wanted & to have it prepped for paint details hopefully soon.

I'm trying to make a definitive Dan Jurgens Doomsday. Hope you all dig it as much as I do so far. 🤘🏻🍻

Witchblade custom WIP - made using Marvel Legends Boom Boom legs, mid section, & arms, along with a 3D printed Witchblade head & kit purchased on Etsy. I used some parts as intended & customized a few to make her a bit more unique. The first 2 photos are where she is now, the 3rd photo is the build before I primed her.

Galvatron SS86 coming soon. I'm sure they'll release one in new packaging & with the more blue movie colors, but I started on this back in 2021, before the semi-craze took off. Had a lot going on at home with the kids, school, & helping care for my mother in law while also trying to find work. 3 months into my new job, I feel like I have some more time here & there to devote to customs again, if not just for peace of mind through the daily chaos.

The second purple one is my extra Galvatron I plan to customize for myself also. I do have a third I'm planning to paint up & add onto to possibly auction or sell.

I'm using custom 3D printed heads I had printed that were designed by The Madness over @ TFW2005 in the Radicons section. I purchased the files & had them printed out. I've since purchased the foot upgrade parts also that he did. I've added articulated MP scaled fists I found on eBay, & I added the longer tail piece on his back that was in a kit I snagged on eBay as well. I dremeled out the back end of the cannon, since I won't need the 5mm nub on it. May do the same with the other soon. I'll be sanding some of the rough areas & painting this hopefully soon. As for the orange cannon on the purple Galvatron, I cut off the tip using a dremel, then sanded by hand the rounded shape to make it smaller. I then used some sanding bits to do some fine sanding around the front end & tip, then wet sanded & buffed it. Last, I clear coated to bring back the clear shine of the original. I wanted one to be toy length & the other to be shorter like the actual animation.

I'm working on making this as close to the artwork on the covers of the Best of the UK Time Wars covers & G1 TFTM 86 Toei design. I'll add them to show where I'm going with it all.

WIP - Cyborg Superman

This is 95% complete. Planning to do a wash on the cyborg half of the chest again to add more depth & darken the recesses some. I may do the same on the blue half, but maybe add some blue highlights. I did a dark tone wash on the metal parts, then drybrushed silver over to highlight the metal & add depth to the parts. I cut the Superman head & dremeled the inside to fit over the Terminator head. I sculpted some of the hair in the middle to back of the head & dremeled out the inside of the head to fit onto the Superman ball joint.ill share final images on this soon. Also working on the other 3 Supermen at the same time, which I'll also share soon

Parts used: Neca Terminator endoskeleton head, McFarlane Action Comics 1000 Superman figure, Superman head from the Devastator Batman 2-pack, McFarlane Justice League movie Cyborg's right arm & left leg. I also added buts from that JL Cyborg figure.

WIP - Dan Jurgens/John Byrne style Superman. I used a McFarlane Action Comics 1000 Superman chest, abs section, & lower leg areas, a McFarlane Rebirth Superman arms & upper thigh areas,, a McFarlane Lex Luthor power suit chest logo/emblem, & a Mezco Superman head. I'll share the final soon, once I paint the chest "S" logo. The first image is the final build, just need to clean it up a bit & match up the neck & hands to the head. The last image is the original chest logo from the Action Comics 1000 figure. Just sharing to show before, during removal, & after with the new one.

I wanted a Superman to fit nicely with my Reign of the Supermen customs I'm working on at the same time. Being a huge Dan Jurgens & John Byrne fan, I wanted a nice big chest logo to fit their art. I'm also working in a killer Doomsday as well. Keep a look out. 🤘🏻

Caught a nasty cold & sinus infection after sharing my Jim Lee Superman & didn't have a chance to work more on it. Hoping to get back to it soon. Also picked up a couple more heads from Ebay to do Sam & Dean from Supernatural.

I'll share early WIP on those soon. Basically have bodies lined up for them, the heads, & just need to sculpt some of the pants on one, work on attaching the heads, then figure out how I want to paint them. Hoping to dive back in soon, been crazy busy with kids, school for one, & household stuff (organizing collectibles, comics, kids toys, household stuff, & our storage units). Going through some old stuff in storage to sell soon also (yes, some old Transformers are part of it, as well as some Funko stuff, & more)......a spring cleaning, if you will.
